Fall is here! It's finally here! Check out some of my favorite things this season for your home and heart
Despite temperatures over 100 degrees, as August winds to a close, I’ve been dreaming of fall. Maybe it’s because I’m longing wistfully for cooler weather, but there’s something about fall…the crunch of leaves, the taste of warm cinnamon crumble, the gorge fashion! Fall is my favorite!
Fall means family gathered around tables, beautiful cozy fall plaids and boots, and pumpkin spice everything. And of course, that also means a little shopping spree for all the plaid and pumpkin things! So come with me on a little fall shopping foray!
At Home
So, of course, we have to festoon the house in fall - from warm, welcome throws and pillows to candles that flicker and fill your home with cozy fragrance, I’ve got you covered.
In the Kitchen
Ok, ok…so technically, the kitchen is part of the house, but I always feel it deserves special attention! It is the heart of the home, and usually traffic central! So it needs to look its seasonal best, not to mention be pie baking ready!!
And what better way to start your family’s day than with a little guilty pleasure of pumpkin spice coffee in your favorite festive fall mug…hmm?
On the Road
While it may be sweltering outside, the cool crisp breeze will be here soon, so it’s time to stock up on sweaters, scarves and boots to keep you toasty and looking stunning all season!
Ok, maybe those last few are more for lounging around the house, but no judgment if they make an appearance out and about. However your celebrating the start of the season, wishing you a warm and wonderful Autumn.
